Chef Loren brings a world of flavor to every dish, drawing on culinary experiences from Hawaii to Italy, Japan, Germany, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Florida Keys, and across the East Coast. Now based in the heart of Virginia’s Monticello wine country, he creates unforgettable local farm-to-table dinners perfectly paired with local wines, for dxecutive dining experiences, private dining, and teaching opportunities. 


Before settling in Virginia, Chef Loren served as Culinary Director and Corporate Chef in Washington, D.C., where he led seven diverse restaurants—from fine dining seafood and steakhouses to BBQ, Caribbean, and gastropubs. He developed menus, trained teams of chefs and managers, and oversaw more than 150 staff across all locations.


While accomplishing all of this, he simultaneously was asked by 2 local news stations to cohost a bimonthly and monthly live and post edited cooking shows from his own kitchen, and in studio, to educate and entertain the viewing areas on some fun and simple recipes to make at home, with several eye-rolling "dad jokes" tossed around for fun. 

With this collection of global experiences, recipes and love of hosting and entertainment, Chef Loren shares his passion for bold flavors and inspiring cooking.

If you don't visit your local farmers markets, or those while you are traveling, you are straight up missing out on the best ingredients you could ever find. I feel very strongly about utilizing local farmers for so many reasons.... it tastes better, is healthier, you are supporting your neighbor and helping the LOCAL economy. There's more, but we can save that for an article.

One of the best things in life we can ever do is try something new. Variety is quite literally the spice of life! Try that caviar, or the unfamiliar item on the menu you've never heard of, go to the Asian market and get a pack of ramen with zero English on the package, buy that strange looking fruit from the market stand and eat it!
